After a standout collegiate career with the Forester tennis program, Mateo Ameller returned to the court in a new role, serving as a graduate assistant under head coach Ignacio Poncio.
As a four-year contributor on the team, Ameller played a key role in leading Huntington to 54 wins, including an impressive 26-5 record in Crossroads League play. During his tenure, the Foresters consistently finished as league runners-up, and Ameller earned All-League honors in each of his final three seasons.
Beyond his collegiate accomplishments, Ameller brings valuable experience from coaching private lessons and working with high school tennis camps.
Ameller holds a BS in Business Management and Marketing from Huntington University and is currently pursuing his MBA with a certification in Executive Coaching & Leadership.
