Huntington breaks three school records, hits three A standards

Hillsdale, Mich. – The Huntington outdoor track and field program turned in multiple outstanding performances over the weekend at Hillsdale's Outdoor Tune-Up. In addition to posting three A standard marks, the Foresters also turned in five B standards performances. Additionally, there were three new school records set and eight first place finishes at the meet.

On the men's side, the Foresters showcased their sprinting power by claiming four of the top 11 times in the 100 meters — with all four performances earning spots in the HU record books. Jonathan Farinha led the way, winning the event and breaking his own school record in the process. The HU women matched that level of success in pole vault, where Emma Schiffli paced the team by finishing seventh and setting a new Forester record. Three additional teammates placed in the top 15 and also secured new marks in Huntington's record books.
