Bio

DeeDee Maggard is in her second season as an assistant coach for the HU women’s basketball program. In addition to serving as the defensive coordinator, Maggard monitors players’ academic progress and assists with scouting and recruiting.

Maggard brings 15 years of coaching experience to the position having served as the varsity assistant and JV head coach at Whitko High School. She also has nearly two decades of teaching experience to the program as a PE teacher at Pierceton Elementary and Troy Alternative School.

Maggard and her husband James reside in Larwill, Ind.
