
Thirty-two fall athletes named NAIA Scholar Athletes
Huntington, Ind. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its fall sport Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes and included are 32 Huntington University student-athletes representing five different teams.
This honor recognizes athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically. The Crossroads League had the most scholar athletes of any conference with 1,002.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have attended one full year at said institution.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 154 NAIA All-America honors and 501 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
