Intramurals

What are Intramural Sports?
Intramurals at Huntington University is designed to provide an opportunity for all students, faculty, and staff to participate in organized recreational competition through men’s, women’s and co-ed leagues and tournaments. Opportunities are offered in over 12 different sports and activities during the fall, winter and spring seasons.

The Intramural Staff
The intramural staff is here to serve you. We hope you will have a fun, safe, intramural sports experience and we will do everything possible to achieve the goals of the University and the campus recreation department. We encourage constructive comments and want to hear from you. Please feel free to contact Russ Lawson at (260) 359-4289 or rlawson@huntington.edu.

Sportsmanship
As part of the philosophy of the intramural program at HU, we realize that sportsmanship plays a vital role in the success of each program we offer. With that in mind, the intramural student supervisors and game officials reserve the right to warn, penalize, and/or eject participants or teams for poor sportsmanship. The intramural coordinator will rule on further penalties to be issued if an ejection is issued. Each player, coach and participant is responsible for creating an environment that promotes sportsmanship and enhances the intramural experience.
