Forty-five spring athletes honored for academic excellence

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. This distinction honors student-athletes who have excelled academically. Forty-five Forester student-athletes were among the more than 3,200 NAIA spring competitors who were honored for their success in the classroom.  
 
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 160 NAIA All-America honors and 567 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
