
Papenbrock earns CL Pitcher of the Week praises
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Junior Tyler Papenbrock had a dominant performance over the weekend to earn Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week praises as announced by the national office earlier today.
Papenbrock was dazzling on the bump in HU's 8-5 win over Bethel Friday afternoon. The junior southpaw sat down 12 of the 27 batters he faced and gave up just two hits in his seven innings of scoreless work.
It's the third time in his Forester tenure that Papenbrock has been voted the league's Pitcher of the Week.
Huntington (14-11, 9-5) is back in action today to finish up their series with Bethel. Opening pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m.
