After serving as a catcher for the Forester baseball program, Ehtan Hoenie transitioned to the sidelines last fall as a graudate assistant. With his primary responsibility strength and conditioning, he also serves as the first base coach. 

In his third season as a graduate assistant, Langston Ginder has a long-standing connection to the Forester baseball program. After serving as HU’s starting second baseman for four years, Ginder stepped to the sidelines to serve as the program's GA. His primary focus is overseeing hitting and the offensive side of things.

During his time in Forester green, Hoenie helped guide HU to 133 wins which included a program-best 38 wins in 2020-21. 

Hoenie graduated from Huntington with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and is currently wrapping up his MBA. This summer he is heading to Phoenix where he will serve as the minor league strength coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
