Bio

Jamar Weaver is in his third year as a full-time assistant for the Forester baseball program.

Weaver has returned to the sidelines of his alma mater where he assists in all areas of the program with a focus on recruiting, player development and defense.

During his time as a Forester, he spent four years as the program's starting second baseman having garnered gold glove honors as well as honorable mention accolades at the conference level. In 2017 he was a key cog in guiding the team to the program's third trip to NAIA Nationals as the league's regular season and tournament champions.  

Upon graduating from HU in 2018, the Topeka (Ind.) native spent three years as an assistant at Westview High School during which the Warriors claimed a regular season and tournament conference title.

Weaver holds degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Huntington. He and his wife, Ciara, a senior admissions counselor at HU, reside in Huntington, Ind.
