Bio

Lauren Phillips is in her second season as a member of the Forester coaching staff. As the assistant, her responsibilities include defining motions and game day readiness. She also assists with recruiting and helps the athletes strengthen the mental side of their craft.

No stranger to the area, Phillips cheered at Peru High School before spending four years at Grace on the cheer squad. She served as a captain for the Lancers as an upperclassman.

In addition to putting her cheer experience to good use, Phillips also brings several years of coaching expertise to the position, having coached at Edgewood Middle School for two years.

Phillips graduated from Grace with a BS in Psychology in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to continuing her education, she is also a social service specialist at the Bowen Center.
