Goodline named to Bevo Francis Top 25 Watch List

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List that was announced last month has been slashed in half with HU's Zach Goodline named one of the 25 players remaining as announced by the National Awards Committee and Small College Basketball earlier today.

This original watch list was comprised of 100 players representing schools from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA. The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations include season statistics, individual achievements and awards, personal character and team achievements.

This is the eighth year of the Bevo Francis Award. Next up on April 5, the finalists will be announced with the Bevo Francis Award winner declared three days later.

The 6-1 point guard is currently averaging 21.0 points per game and leads the Foresters in assists (5.7) and steals (2.4). Additionally, he pulls down 3.5 rebounds per night. To date, Goodline has scored 2,391 points which places him third on Huntington's all-time scoring list.

Goodline is one of three Crossroads League players to be included on the Top 25 Watch List. Joining him on this elite list  includes 5-11 junior Gus Etchison from Marian and 6-10 senior Elijah Malone from Grace.
