Jared Jauch joined the HU men’s basketball coaching staff in 2020-21. After spending his first two seasons as the program’s graduate assistant and the last two as an assistant, Jauch has been promoted to the associate head coach this fall with a focus on player development and breaking down film.

Jauch was a four-year member of the Covenant College basketball program where he started 24 of the 76 games he appeared in. As a captain his final two seasons, he helped guide his team to a pair of USA South regular season conference titles which included establishing a new program record for league wins in a single season (16) in 2018-19.

The 6-1 guard also had a taste of coaching his junior season when he served as a student assistant after being sidelined by injury three games into the year. Additionally, Jauch was a standout in the classroom as evidenced by his selection to the USA South All-Academic Team three times over.

Jauch graduated from Covenant with a BS in Sports Administration in 2020. He also holds his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Huntington.
