HU Men Crack Top 5 in Spring Debut 

Knoxville, Tenn.- Cooper Trigg and the HU men's golf team turned in a top five finish in the first spring outing of the year. Trigg shot a three over par 75 in the opening round and nine over par 81 in the second round for a 36 hole total of 156 (+12) to tie for eighth place out of 64 golfers. As a team, the Foresters finished in a tie for fifth place with a team score of 643 (+67) out of 12 teams at the Island Point Intercollegiate Invitational. Brenner Lampton's 160 (+16) was good for a tie for 16th place. Brayden Cable turned in a career best six over par 78 in the second round for a total of 168 (+24).

The Abraham Baker Agricultural College finished atop the leaderboard with 35 over par team score of 611. Indiana Tech (617), Georgetown (633), William Penn (636), and Huntington (643) rounded out the top 5. 

LOOKING FORWARD 
The Huntington men's team will head to Noblesville on March 21st to compete in the Purgatory Intercollegiate Invitational at the Purgatory Golf Club.
