
Pellegrine named Defensive Player of the Week
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University senior Dan Pellegrine was tabbed this season's first Crossroads League Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office earlier this afternoon. The last Forester to earn this weekly badge was Gabe Greenfield in 2019.
HU kicked off the season Saturday at King Stadium with a 4-0 win over Lourdes. Pellegrine snagged three saves on his way to posting the clean sheet in net.
Huntington (1-0) is back in action on Wednesday to host Cumberlands (Ky.) at 6:00 p.m.
