Bio

Reid Sproat is in his first season as the graduate assistant for the men’s soccer program.

Sproat brings a decorated playing career to the program having played at Oakland University where he was a three-time Horizon League All-Conference selection for the NCAA D1 Grizzlies. He helped guide the program to Horizon League regular season and tournament championships in 2021.

In his fifth and final year of eligibility, Sproat  anchored the back line at San Diego State University. In addition to being named the 14th best player in the country by Top Drawer Soccer, he also received an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention shoutout.

Sproat graduated from Leo High School as the all-time leading scorer. During his prep career he racked up a plethora of honors at the conference and state level while guiding the program to four straight conference championships and the first sectional championship in school history.

Sproat graduated with a Marketing degree from Oakland in 2023. He holds a certificate in Restorative Justice Practice and Trauma-Informed Care at SDSU and is currently pursuing his MBA at Huntington.
