No. 24 Huntington downed by No. 18 Cumberlands

Williamsburg, Ky. – After rain forced stoppage of play on Wednesday, the #24 Forester men's tennis team's match against #18 Cumberlands (Ky.) was pushed to Friday where the Patriots rolled to a 4-1 win over their visitors. The loss foiled Huntington's plan of a fourth Top 25 win as they drop to 12-4 on the year.

The guests got off to a fast start by nabbing the point in doubles play before the match was called. Once play resumed on Friday, Cumberlands battled their way to four wins in singles play to send HU home from spring break with a loss. All four matches were three-set thrillers.

The Foresters are off until they host UNOH on April 2 as part of the IWU Doc Richards Tournament.
