Bio

After spending four years in a Forester jersey, Dazia Drake stepped to the sidelines last fall as the graduate assistant for the women’s basketball program. Her responsibilities include assisting with recruiting, player development, scouting, operations and social media.

After a successful prep career at Owen Valley High School where she scored over 1,400 points and set the school record for most blocks and three-pointers in a game, season and career, Drake brought her talent to HU. A three-year starter for the Foresters, she scored over 500 points and swatted 115 shots during her collegiate career.  

Drake graduated from Huntington with a BS in Sport Management in 2023. She is currently pursuing her MBA at HU.
