Moore earns All-League nod again
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – For the second consecutive season, senior Kira Moore earned Honorable Mention All-League honors. Serving as Huntington's top golfer, Moore posted an impressive 18-hole scoring average of 80.3 over the course of the season.
A native of Mansfield, Ohio, Moore has left a lasting legacy on the Forester golf program. She captured two individual tournament titles and earned spots on eight All-Tournament Teams—both program records.
Moore wraps up her time at Huntington holding three program records which includes lowest 18-hole round (71), lowest 36-hole score (146; 74-72), and lowest 54-hole total (234; 80-79-75).
As a team, Moore and company won the Clash at Cinder earlier this spring and claimed three runner-up finishes over the course of the year.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 160 NAIA All-America honors and 567 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
