HU's season ends with 3-0 loss to No. 10 Marian

Huntington, Ind. – The HU women's soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 loss to #10 Marian Wednesday night under the lights at King Stadium.

While the Foresters didn't' have many looks offensively, their defense allowed just one goal through the opening 75 minutes to keep things interesting. Unfortunately, the wheels fell off for a four-minute span to which the Knights took full advantage by finding back netting twice to put the game out of reach.

Ireland Aerni made several incredible stops on her way to posting nine saves against a Marian squad that peppered 19 shots her direction. The Knights won the corner kick battle 8-0.

With this loss, HU's season comes to an end. Coach Lewis and crew finish the year with an overall record of 5-7-5 which includes a CL record of 0-6-3.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men-3-3. and women.
