Herrera named CL Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – With the season officially in the books, Isabella Herrera ended her junior year on a high note by being named this week's Crossroads League Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Herrera, who held the down the #1 spot for the Foresters most of the year, led her team to a dominant 7-0 victory over Manchester in their final match last week. In doubles play, she teamed up with Tiziana Rizzato at the top spot to shut out Avin DeMaso and Ali Paul, 6-0, to garner her first ever CL weekly honor.
Huntington concludes their season with a 9-12 overall record.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
