Foresters Compete at Jet’s Pizza Invitational and Wildcat Open

University Center, Mich. – The Huntington University women's indoor track and field squad spent the weekend at Saginaw Valley State University to compete in the Jet's Pizza Invitational. The distance relay team of Mackenzie Brewer, Lydia Baker, Olivia Howell, and Emily Tedder earned an A standard to qualify for the NAIA Indoor Track Nationals. A group of vaulters and throwers stayed close to home and competed in the Wildcat Open at Indiana Wesleyan University on Friday. Pole Vaulter Emma Schiffli recorded her personal best mark at 3.15m, just shy of the school record of 3.20m set by Michelle Kyler in 2010.

 LOOKING FORWARD 
 The Foresters will compete in the Fairgrounds Invitational at the Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis on February 8th. The Fairgrounds Invitational will be the final tune-up before the Crossroads League Championships take place on February 14th-15th on the campus of Taylor University.    

 The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men-3-3. and women.
