Bio

Brooks Gerke is in his seventh season with the track and field program where he works primarily with jumps and pole vault. Gerke graduated from Huntington in 2018 as the program’s record holder in pole vault.

Gerke holds the indoor record with a mark of 15-00.25 and the outdoor record with a mark of 15-3. His name can also be found in the Forester record books in high jump, triple jump and long jump where he sits in the top ten of each event.

Gerke’s track and field resume also includes three trips to the NAIA National Championships where he competed twice in the heptathlon and once in pole vault. He will put his experience and success to good use by working primarily with pole vaulters and jumpers for Coach Roark's crew.

Gerke excelled in the classroom as well by earning Dean’s List honors on six occasions in addition to being recognized as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Business Management and Economics & Finance. The Auburn native currently works at Thrivent Financial in Fort Wayne.
