MARION, Ind. - The No. 13 HU women's cross country team had a strong start to their season Friday night by finishing fourth out of 20 teams with 117 points at the Twilight Invite hosted on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.

The Foresters are back in action September 20 for the Larry Young Invitational hosted by Columbia College (Mo.).

OTHER NOTABLES
- HU is ranked 13th in this year's preseason NAIA Women's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating. Last year the
   Foresters finished 12th in the final ranking. 
- The top seven teams to finish tonight were all Crossroads League institutions.
- The 2023 season marked the first season the women's race was switched from a 5K to a 6K.
